About Me - Darren Mather
Albert Einstein
I was born in a small town in Nottinghamshire, England. From a very young age I was always very curious about everything around me, which inevitably led to be studying computing, maths and physics at school before going to the University of Birmingham to study for a BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering.
After graduating in 2005 I started a development program with a multinational engineering company where I completed 4 placements spread over the UK, Europe and the USA. I worked on projects for some of the worlds biggest companies, including DHL, Coca-Cola and Kaiser Permanente.
In 2007 I moved to The Netherlands to work for an engineering and manufacturing company implementing LabVIEW based systems to automate and improve existing measurement and testing processes. During this time I also completed a Master of Business Administration degree at the Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham.
I started with freelance LabVIEW work as I have always enjoyed learning new things and this allows me to see different industries and meet many like minded people who are always looking for new ways to do things.
I live with my wife in the north of Rotterdam.
